Powerex Alarm & Manifold Programming
Firmware and program update procedure for FirstCall™ Medical Gas Alarm Panels and Manifolds.
Required Update — Version 3 Program Fix
This update is required for all FirstCall™ Medical Gas Alarm Panels and Manifolds
shipped between 11/22/2025 and 4/14/2026.
Follow all steps below in order. Products outside this date range only need the firmware update.

Format USB Drive to FAT32
Prepare the USB flash drive before downloading files

Insert the USB thumb drive into your Windows PC.

Open File Explorer, select the USB drive, then open the Drive Tools tab in the ribbon.

Click Format.

Confirm the File System is set to FAT32 (Default). Do not change any other settings.

Click Start and confirm when prompted. The drive will be ready once formatting completes.

Required for all products shipped before 11/22/2025. Install this instead of the program files above.

Install Program from USB
Load the downloaded file onto the panel via USB

Go to the panel and open the enclosure door.

Insert the USB stick into the USB slot on the side of the PLC/HMI unit (the rectangular port inside the panel).

Power on the panel.

Press and hold the upper-right corner of the touchscreen until the system menu appears, then tap Login.

Enter the login credentials below. The login is case and spacing sensitive — use the eye icon in the password field to verify your entry before submitting.Username UserPassword Pass123

After logging in, press and hold the upper-right corner again and select UniApps.

Navigate to:

On the Upgrades screen, press Import Application, then press Import to confirm.

The system will reboot automatically. Once it restarts, the program update is complete.

Safely Remove USB Flash Drive
Always use the Unitronics safe-remove procedure — do not pull the drive directly

Log into UniApps using the Level 4 username and password. This will bring you to the System screen.

Select Control from the System screen icons.

Tap the Safe Remove tab at the top of the screen.

Select Safely Remove DOK. Once confirmed, you may physically remove the USB drive from the panel.⚠ Always use this procedure before removing the USB drive to prevent file system corruption on the PLC.
